Muay Thai Boxing

Muay Thai boxing is one of the most effective striking and self-defense martial arts. It’s popularity has surged over the years due to the rise of Mixed Martial Arts. Many MMA fighters use Muay Thai as their striking art of choice.

Muay thai is from Thailand and is referred to as the "Art of Eight Limbs" because it uses punches, kicks, elbows and knee strikes.

Benefits of Muay Thai

Muay is an amazing martial art to learn for self-defense and reality combat. It is very realistic and trained similar to boxing. You will work on heavy bags, focus mitts and kick pads with our muay thai coach and other students.

Not only is it a great martial art to learn for self-defense, but it is an incredible workout. A Muay Thai workout works your whole body. You’re not just moving your legs or arms, your whole body is working in synch to deliver power kicks and strikes.

What you will learn?

You will learn the devastating kicks, elbows, knees and punches of Muay Thai. You’ll also learn clinch fighting. One of the unique differences in Muay Thai compared to other kickboxing or striking arts is the use of the "Clinch". This is basically a standing grappling position where probationers will deliver elbows, knees, punches, etc. It gives the student a very powerful arsenal of techniques to execute when an opponent is grabbing you or trying to throw you down.
