2 Types of Strength Training Available
We have two types of strength and conditioning programs / workouts availble to our students. They can be done inpendently or together.
All of our strength classes are classes – which means that you will learn proper technique, form and movements to get the most out of your training.
This is NOT the gym, this is group class with training partners who will help motivate and encourage so everyone gets stronger & healthier together.
Strongman Atheltics Training
Strongman training at the Jiu-Jitsu and Strength Academy is an old-school, no B.S. – Strength and Power program that includes basic but brutal training modalities such as:
- Squats and Deadlifts
- Overhead Pressing
- Tire Flipping
- Sledgehammer Work
- Dragging, Pushing and Moving Heavy Objects
- Sandbag Training
- Odd Object Lifting and Pressing (Kegs, Stones, etc)

Our goal is to develop the functional and usable strength and power that can be transformed onto the mat, into the ring or in your daily life. You’ll feel stronger, more capable and healthier.

Warrior Workouts
The Warrior Bootcamp Workouts are High Intensity Workouts designed to increase your strength, lose fat and increase your conditioning. These workouts are perfect for Athletes, "Everyday Joes", Moms, etc who are looking to increase their strength and conditioning while losing fat and building muscle at the same time.
These workouts are performed in circuits with unique stations that will challenge you every workout.

Warrior Bootcamp Workouts are designed to get you in ripped-up-shape with the ability to steamroll through anything in front of you. Forget the boring gym – make changes to your body and mind with the Warrior Bootcamp Workouts.
Most students will do both the strongman athletics training and then the warrior workouts after. This maximizes their workout time and results.
Personalized Strength and Fitness Goals
One of the biggest challenges people face when they decide to undertake a new strength training program is actually developing a program that acheieves your goals. When you first decide to take the step to improve your strength, fitness, and health – we will help devise a plan for you will include one or both of our training methods; but also allows you to workout out on your schedule as well.
The Strength Gym is ALWAYS Available
If the Strongman Training and Warrior Workouts don’t fit into your schedule – no worries! The training area is always available to you, even during our regular classes. If you missed a workout with the group or just want to spend some extra time in the gym, no problem! Just come down and train. Be sure to take advantage of the free personalized strength and fitness goals as well.
