Student Amir Kearney Wins Absolute White Belt Division

One of our students Amir Kearney competed this weekend at the Best Way Jiu-Jitsu tournament located in Danbury, CT. Amir competed in the Super Heavyweight division and placed 3rd. He lost due to a technicality in rules, but nearly submitted his opponent. Amir then decided to do the absolute tournament where he submitted 4 out of his 5 opponents to secure a 1st place victory in the Aboslute Division.
Amir displayed great technique and great control. We are very proud of Amir and his dedication to training and jiu-jitsu.
