[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]Proper strength training for young adults has a tremendous benefit for their overall health, confidence and athletic performance. Many teens want to “go to the gym” but are mostly clueless when it comes to strength training properly. They listen to bad advice, go WAY to heavy and do it all with improper technique.

At the JSA we believe in “Personalized Training”. We approach our strength training like we approach our martial arts training. Every client or student should have a “coach” or “teacher”. They need someone to teach them, correct them and help them reach their goals; while setting new ones along the way.[/vc_column_text][vc_text_separator title=”Goal of Our Program” title_align=”separator_align_center” color=”peacoc”][vc_column_text]The goal of these classes is to work with teens in a small group that is monitored and guided through workouts. We work with each teen to achieve their strength or fitness goal.

The program is ideal for teen athletes looking to “get an edge” on their upcoming sport season. But, it is also ideal for teens who need to lose weight and feel more confident about themselves. Every teen is welcome and it is not an environment where teens should feel judged or concerned about their strength / performance. Our coaches and the other teens in class are very supportive and motivating. The teens and coaches work together as a team to help everyone improve! It is a very motivating and “safe” environment.[/vc_column_text][vc_text_separator title=”Always a Coach” title_align=”separator_align_center” color=”peacoc”][vc_column_text]Each session is monitored by 1 or 2 strength coaches. We work closely with each teen to teach them the proper techniques of strength training. Injury prevention and learning how to train properly is vital! We want to maximize their results and increase their performance… the only way to do that with teens is watch and monitor their progress.

During each session the coaches will develop a program or workout for the day. Performance and Agility Training

8th to 12th Grade

For pre-teens & teens (8th to 12th Grade) we offer a fitness and performance training focusing on bodyweight training, innovative “fun” training, agility and core training. These sessions are perfect for any age teen or pre-teen who is looking to improve their athletic ability.

The kids will perform a variety of exercises using their own bodyweight, sandbags, light-weights, and exercises that will challenge their agility and speed.

These classes are NOT weight training classes where a barbell or other advanced “tools” are being used.  This program can prepare a pre-teen or teen to advance into our advanced strength training program.

Teen Advanced Strength & Performance Training

10th to 12th Grade

For teens (10th to 12th Grade) we offer personalized strength and performance training . These sessions are led by our expert trainers that includes custom programming and workouts to enhance your kids strength, muscle, performance and athletic ability.

This program is reserved for teens who have attended our previous camps or training sessions or also have experience strength training.

Teens are accessed when they join and will be recommended for a certain programs, training, and workouts.
