TRITAC-UNARMED: Striking-Based Self-Defense

TRITAC-UNARMED is designed for the realities of “anything goes” street violence. Techniques and tactics are designed for street self defense situations where multiple opponents and opponents with weapons are common.

Influenced by Muay Thai, Western Boxing, Kick Boxing, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Silat, and Filipino Martial Arts (to name a few), the TRITAC-Unarmed System was designed to be as instinctive yet efficient as possible; natural, flowing body movements and mechanics that can be made without much thought or planning, while still capitalizing on strength, speed, and accuracy.

A message from the owner: Matt Bryers

Hello!  Thank you for visiting the JSA website!  My name is Matt, I’m the owner of the JSA as well as one of the instructors.

I am VERY excited to have you visit the site and hopefully … come down and visit the JSA itself 🙂  I would love to meet you!

At the JSA, our vision is to help others “Level-Up”.

Whether it’s learning new techniques in Jiu-Jitsu, challenging yourself on the mat and/or in the Strength Gym, or developing new unique friendships; the JSA is here for you to Level-Up.

There is also a process at the JSA designed to help you level-up quickly.  That process starts with our Intro Classes > Fundamentals Training / Regular Classes.  I will personally work with you when you request a 1-week trial to recommend the best the days to come for your first intro classes.

Our philosophy is that everyone helps everyone else improve.  We don’t just throw you onto the mat or into the gym and expect you to be an expert.  The more we help you, the more we help the JSA Tribe – which helps everyone.

One of the biggest benefits to training at the JSA is that we work with you personally to get the results you desire. We can help you learn to defend yourself, compete in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, improve strength and performance, lose weight, or any combination! We ensure that you get the highest quality training and achieve RESULTS.  It doesn’t matter if you’ve never trained before, what shape you’re in, how old you are… etc. All we care about is that you’re here working to improve yourself! Our professional instructors and coaches are “masters” of their craft. We have leading Self-Defense and Reality-Combat instructors, World Champion Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu fighters / teachers, Certified Strength and Fitness Coaches,and extremely qualified kids instructors.

Everything You Need to Train

The JSA is 4,600 sq/f facility featuring a martial arts training area, our strength gym and our fitness room. We offer classes 7-days week at multiple times during the day. Our grappling mats are ~2.5″ thick that are perfect for throws, takedowns and grappling. Our strength room has every piece of equipment you need to train and our Performance Room features TRX, Sandbags, Kettlebells, Ropes, Sledge hammers and more. You’ll never get bored and always have fun training!

We offer 1-week of: free, no obligation, and awesome training trial.  We have dedicated intro sessions for beginners who are looking to learn Jiu-Jitsu, reality-combat, and/or get stronger.

If you have no experience, you’ll work 1-on-1 or in a very small group of other beginners with one our coaches.  If you have experience in martial arts, strength training, etc – you can just jump into one of our classes and check it out!

The most important thing is for you get a good “feel” of the JSA and what we offer.  You can take ANY class, workout, etc.  The JSA is yours to experience.
