IPT Performance Athletics Training at the Jiu-Jitsu and Strength Academy is an old-school, no B.S. – Strength and Performance program that is fun, interesting and always challenging.
You will use a variety of exercises and implements to train your body to develop true “functional” strength from head to toe. You will perform some basic strength exercises as well as some un-orthodox exercises that will make your stronger, faster, and more athletic.
Some sample exercises are:
- Kettlebell Training
- Sandbag Training
- Suspension Training
- Tire Flipping
- Truck Pushing / Pulling (Harness)
- Sled Dragging
- Farmer’s Walks
- Sanbag Carrys, Loading and Pressing
- Sledgehammer Work
- Keg Carrys, Loading, Tossing, Pressing
- Body-weight Exercises
The awkwardness of these exercises builds true, “functional” strength from head to toe. This enables you to strengthen muscles that are nearly impossible to strengthen with traditional weight training.
IPT Strength Athletics Training is for EVERYONE! You don’t have to be a fitness guru to do these classes. We have men, women, and people of ALL ages IPT Strength Athletics Training and having a blast doing it. Plus, the JSA is completely different then any other gym you’ve ever been to. There are NO egos and NO BS – just hard training that makes results.
